Once again I was on call for my ambassador duties for Childline Rocks.
The Sons of Royalty set off for a 1700 mile road trip through USA. Starting off in San Francisco and finishing in Santa Fe. Along the way we stopped, visited and drove through/along and over: Yosemite National Park, Mammoth Lakes, Death Valley, Furnace Creek, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Kingman, Seligman, Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Meteor Crater, Winslow (yes we did stand on the corner), Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, Gallup(49er bar), Albuquerque and finally our destination Santa Fe. We call this ride The Great British Invasion. We ride and raise money for Childline. This year was our 5th ride and so far to date we have raised just over £100,000. This is a great amount of money for a great cause. Always remember: The Crow Flies Straight.
The ride for next year is soon to be announced. If you want to take part or get involved then keep your eyes peeled for announcements on the the website.
Just to tease you, the title of next years ride is:
Thunder in the mountains, cool wind in your hair… couldn’t get much higher!
That’s all your getting for now. I’m sure some smart arse will work it out. But, until then here is a small gallery from this years ride. Not bad is it.
